Disc Golf Pro Tour Championship To Be Held at New World DGC
Disc Golf Pro Tour has announced that the DGPT Championships will be hosted by Prodigy Disc at New World Disc Golf Course in Jacksonville, FL. The massive New World Disc Golf facility houses two courses, the original "New World" course and the recently completed "USA Links" which was co-designed by Prodigy course designer Will Schusterick and Prodigy Disc's Phil Arthur. Both courses feature Prodigy T-1 Targets.
The newly installed, championship level "USA Links" course is 10,347 feet long, comprising of a par 65 design. It features all brand new course accessories produced by Prodigy Disc including targets, turf tee pads, tee signs, benches and more.
According to Phil Arthur, "You start off with being able to score, and it gets technical and difficult on the long holes. They’re not just holes that you blast down the fairway and take advantage of your length and get ahead of everybody else in the pack. The more you bite off, the more difficult it is to stay in position to score.”
